However, all the members of the group are expected to be present for the oral presentation. The duration of the presentation should be about 10 minutes followed by an interactive Q&A discussion session of 5 minutes with the other students in the class. The groups can then incorporate the suggestions and changes encountered during the presentation in their final report and submit it by the deadline quoted on the course outline.
You are required to submit a soft copy electronically to Turnitin through Blackboard, by the submission date. Only the group coordinator should submit the report to Turnitin and include the “scanned” copy of the University assignment cover page in the soft copy. The final soft copy that is being submitted to Turnitin should be named by your group number followed by the topic. For example: Group 10_Pesticides. You will also be required to record the proportion of the work done by yourself and the other members of the group when you submit the report. The workload contribution form should be submitted to the folder allotted for it on Blackboard, on or before the submission date for the report. Rename the workload contribution form as follows before you submit: WCF_G10 (Your group)_(Your name). You should not collaborate with your group members when completing the form. It should reflect what you think is a fair distribution of workload. If you do not submit an individual form showing workload contribution by the due date, you will only receive half of the marks for the report. If you are in the group in name only and do not contribute, do not expect to get the rewards! Students who are reported as doing less than their fair share will have the remaining marks reduced on a pro-rata basis. The workload contribution summary report format can be found along with the other course documents on blackboard.
